Ware, Isaac "A Complete Body of Architecture adorned with Plans and Elevations from Original Designs... some designs of Inigo Jones never before published", London, printed for T Osborne and J Shipton, etc. 1756, engraved frontis loose, red and black print tp, loss top right corner taking away half of the 'y' of Body, vignette of the Pantheon, plates match as table of plates listed, some folding, from pages 381 to 427 slight tear by stitching of binding, plate 53 slight tear top of page (not affecting the engraving or margin), folding plate 30-31 most of 31 is missing, plate 25 stain in centre, plate 5 has a tear (not going into the margin or loss), plate 82 folding, edges loss and worn, plate 120 tear to top of page (no loss), index loose, back board separating, worm hole damage from page 497 chapter 9 through to end slight tear very top of page not affecting text or plates, contemporary binding but boards loose, leather worn and loss as backstrip (bought as seen)

Items can be collected in person, by proxy (by arrangement only) or collection arranged by the buyer with a courier company that also packs. Collection & Delivery

All items must be collected within 2 weeks of purchase, unless prior arrangement is made with the auctioneeers.

Items purchased in the Cirencester and Gloucester sales and not collected on the day will be moved to our Cheltenham office for collection later (transfer fees may apply). Artist Resale Rights

All works of art by living artists or those who have died within the last 70 years may be subject to Artists Resale Rights charges. These charges can be up to 4% of the hammer price on lots sold for over the GBP£ equivalent of €1000 (based on the exchange rate on day of purchase).

The auctioneer cannot accept any reponsibility for missing details or images. Condition reports should be used as a guide only, and refer only to obvious damage visible under normal light.

Books: The catalogue descriptions are a guide only; books are not collated unless stated. It is recommended that condition reports are received in person if buyer unable to view and buyers must satisfy themselves as to condition before bidding.
