Condition Report Candlestick cracked and broken through stem, in two.
Chipping to feathered quill, the end of the quill is cracked off and detached.
The open book with two loose pages (detached but present).
The majority of the other books with some minor chipping to edges.

Reg Butler (1913-1981) bronze , " Ophelia L", 1955-56, 50cm high (8 of 8), together with Gallery Pangolin receipt and certificate dated January 2020
From the collection of the late Maurice Costley
Reg Butler studied and lectured at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London from 1937 to 1939. A conscientious objector during World War Two, he was exempted from military service and set up a blacksmithing business repairing farm tools. He became one of the best known sculptors of the 1950s and 1960s, and taught at the Slade School of Art. Many of his works are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tate Gallery in London.

Lincoln Bennett top hat, with adjustable inner rim, in fitted leather hat box, initialled R.E.G.C. 44, appr oximately 20cm long by 16.5cm across internally, 14cm external height. Condition Report The external silk appears to be in good condition. There is a tiny bit of wear around the rim on the top on a very small section on close inspection.
